"Ironically, the part of a woman's brain responsible for emotions shuts off as well, leaving me to wonder why so many girls feel attached to casual sexual partners.  (thinking maybe it's more socialization than evolutionary)"

"During orgasm".

The brain is fully operative during sex, until (and IF!!) orgasm, as well as before and after sex.

There's MUCH more evidence that this attachment is biological, and since female orgasm is (sorry, guess mother nature isn't much of a feminist) not essential to procreation , there you have it.

The real problem with today's feminist theory is that at best , it ignores, and at worst, resents the very fact of how our species evolved. If we really wanted equality, we'd accept that there ARE differences, not only in the body parts, but also the brain, the hornones, the chemical functioning- and focus on using those differences to do more - and we are certainly capable of far more !

The delusion of "all differences are social" sadly hinders women from achieving true equality - any fight you take up against a windmill will draw resources from the real battle, and we have yet to leave the poor windmill alone and focus on reality.

It turns out that one woman wrote an entire book about the female orgasm is kind of just an accident- there was no evolutionary design, but just the fact that men and women are similar: "females get the nerve pathways for orgasm by initially having the same body plan." WTF?  So basically, she believes (and surprisingly it was definitely a she who wrote the book) I have orgasms because my clitoris is like a small penis? I don't know the science enough to form an opinion on this, but I am wondering what the feminist reaction to this article was.

Why's this a shocker? We are the same species, and differ only slightly by one chromosome. We initially develop with no distinct gender, so why is it so hard to believe that females have male physiological similarities? It's not a gender control thing, just a likely evolutionary trait to fast-track the gestation process. It seems a hell of a lot easier to have a universal genetic plan, then have some parts emphasized and other parts suppressed based on gender than to have a unique plan for either sex.

I mean, testes and ovaries come from the same common "prototype" organ. What about male nipples? I'm sure as hell not using mine. It just seems logical that an unused or diminished part of the reproductive system would be underdeveloped or retasked rather than spending useful energy in the development process getting rid of it altoghether.

There are many conflicting theories out there, however. It has also been shown that the female orgasm shapes the vaginal canal in such a way that makes it easier for sperm to travel up into the uterus.  So while it is obviously not necessary for pregnancy, it has been shown to be extremely helpful!
